Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce Appoints Cassie Hendricks as President; Welcomes Kyla Southworth to Staff

Payson, Ariz. — September 16, 2025 — The Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce today announced the appointment of Cassie Hendricks as President of the Board of Directors. Hendricks previously served the Chamber as Vice President and Secretary and is the President & CEO of Forest Properties, Inc. She succeeds Andy Strader, who has served as President since August 2019 and recently shared at a Chamber luncheon that he will step down to focus on his family and his new role at National Bank of Arizona.

“We are grateful for Andy’s six years of incredible leadership and his commitment to Rim Country businesses,” said Jimmy Lee, Executive Director of the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Cassie brings deep Chamber experience and a proven track record as a local business leader. Her vision, combined with our board and staff, will strengthen our impact across the region.”

Strader reflected on the transition, stating, “It has been a privilege to serve this community. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished and confident the Chamber is in excellent hands under Cassie’s leadership.”

In addition to the leadership transition, the Chamber is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyla Southworth to the staff of the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce. Southworth, a lifelong resident of Payson who managed Common Grounds Coffee, will oversee External Affairs & Membership, working alongside Executive Director Jimmy Lee to enhance member outreach, partnerships, and community engagement.

“Kyla knows our community and our businesses,” added Lee. “Her energy and relationships will help us deliver more responsive services, stronger programming, and meaningful connections for our members.”
