Rim Country Chamber Partners with First Things First to Support Families and Local Businesses

The Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with First Things First to promote family-friendly business practices and strengthen support systems for families across our community.

Through this partnership, we will:

• Share Resources & Stories: Continue sharing First Things First materials through our Chamber platforms while highlighting local small businesses that are adopting innovative, family-friendly policies in their workplaces.

• Launch a Business Commitment Campaign: Invite local businesses to sign a “Commitment to Families” pledge, recognizing those that champion family-oriented policies and workplace practices. We aim to celebrate this community-wide effort through a joint event with local leadership in 2026.

• Expand Child Care Partnerships: Collaborate with local churches and faith-based institutions to be part of the solution by opening their spaces for programs that serve families — from community child care to after-school and weekend programs for children. We believe local faith communities can play a vital role in helping meet this critical need for families across Rim Country.
